The two standout runners this week are in New Zealand, and although you're getting short odds on both, they should be linked in any Multi's as dead-set winners. The other we fancy is a classy Waller runner in Australia who looks ready to burst and shouldn't be underestimated on firm ground.

SARTI was a horror watch resuming at Te Rapa a month ago, dropping out last early and only powering up late to hit the line hard for third. The Ken Kelso-trained SNITZEL gelding is beautifully bred and all class at best as a lightly tried horse with supreme ability. McNab only has to kick him out hard from the gates into a safe spot to be winning here and a firm Ellerslie up to the 1300m should suit perfectly. Look for the Blue and white hoops charging up to them on straightening.

The Robbie Patterson-trained RONALDO (Trentham R2) is an exciting galloper who won stylishly on debut at New Plymouth following a blazing 10 length trial victory. Led, and far too strong at Wanganui in March, but raced three wide without cover throughout in the Sires at Trentham. Soft trial on Tuesday, so will be primed to resume and Grylls has gone down to ride which is a huge pointer. Don't ignore the stablemate MELONI (R6) as both are massive chances.

Best value for us comes with ANGEL CAPITAL in the Rupert Clarke at Caulfield, and the stallion just looks beautifully placed at the weights/draw to claim his first Group 1. Didn't appreciate the soft track in the Memsie and had a tough time of it following a tidy return in the Missile Stakes at Randwick. Third-up for will be bang on and trusting Waller to have the polish on returning to Melbourne. E/W punt at the very least but a nice three-leg multi.
